Our Mission

The Art League of New Britain exists to create and foster artistic expression and endeavor in the greater New Britain Community. The League's activities consist of classes, lectures, and presentations on both general and specific art subjects, exhibitions of artwork representing a broad variety of styles and media, and the encouragement of the artistic talent of the greater New Britain community.

Founded in 1928, our non-profit gallery has served thousands of artists and art enthusiasts through our exhibitions, classes, and community events

Life Drawing Sessions

Join us for ongoing monitored sessions with professional models. Open to adult artists working at all levels. Bring your own materials, pad and drawing tools.

Fees  $15.00 for ALL participants

A nude model will hold a combination of poses ranging from two-minute warm-ups to a final, one-hour pose (20 minutes on and 5 minutes off). 

On going monitored sessions give Artists the opportunity to work from a life model at ALNB. Participants bring use their own materials, pad and drawing tools.  Open to adult Artists working at all levels.

Portrait Drawing Session

Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

One long pose (20 minutes on, 5 minutes off)

Clothed Model

Saturday Portrait Drawing Session
$15.00

A model will hold one long pose for the session (20 minutes on and 5 minutes off).

On going monitored sessions give Artists the opportunity to work from a life model at ALNB. Participants bring use their own materials, pad and drawing tools.  Open to adult Artists working at all levels.
